We're excited to share Hope Central Christian Church news, events, and information to help us serve and grow in Christ together.
Hope Central Launch
We encourage everyone to join us at either the Kimball or Dassel campus on Sunday, September 21. We want to bless you with a gift the whole family will love!
Additionally, communications from Hope Central Christian Church will come from either: Elisabeth Nelson, Office Administrator @ Dassel Campus
Kate Simon, Office Administrator @ Kimball Campus.
Upcoming Messages
As we continue to explore the Gospels (the biographies of Jesus in the Bible) in our Sunday morning messages, we encourage you to read the Scriptures ahead of time.
September 7 - Matthew 8:5-13 and Luke 7:1-17
September 14 - Matthew 11:2-19 and Luke 7:18-35
Then, with the launch of Hope Central Christian Church on September 21, we will take a few weeks to look at our Vision, Mission, and Values:
September 21 - HCCC Vision & Mission: "Helping People Find Hope in Jesus" & "Love God. Love Others. Serve Both."
September 28 - HCCC Values: "Our authority is the Bible. Our message is the gospel. Our pursuit is transformed lives."
October 5 - HCCC Values: "Our passion is the next generation. Our design is authentic relationships. Our intention is community impact."
Study Guides that go along with the messages will continue to be available on www.hope-central.church (or click here: study guide). Paper copies are located in the foyer next to the bulletins.
Adult Sunday School
A new Adult Sunday School class begins Sept 21. Eric Loewen will be teaching a Foundations of the Faith class at 9:30 at the Kimball Campus (room TBD). If you are new to following Jesus and want to build a strong foundation or if it has been a minute since you went to Catechism, Confirmation, or Sunday School, come join this class on the core doctrines of the faith. Eric will be discussing what the Bible teaches about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, baptism, and other basics of the faith.
Blood Drive
Kimball Fire & Rescue is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive on Thursday September 11th from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Hope Central Christian Church - Kimball Campus.
To make an appointment to donate, please call Tom Ehlinger at 320-250-2411 or visit redcrossblood.org.
All blood types are needed, but there is a critical need for donors with O negative, A negative, and B negative blood types.
Reframing Life
Are you pressing on, putting a smile on, serving, doing life … But, missing abundant living? “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” John 10:10
Is life hard? Do you carry hurts that are a lifetime old? Are your relationships struggling? Is your heart wounded or broken? Is life a struggle to survive, when you want to thrive? Join us and learn how to reframe your life … Seeing yourself and your life through God’s eyes.
Please join us from 6:00-8:30 pm on Monday nights from September 15 - November 10 at Hope Central Christian Church - Kimball Campus.
Cost is $30 and space is limited.
Groups will be gender specific.
New Opportunity for Married/Engaged Couples
We are inviting all married couples and those engaged to join us in growing our marriage relationships as well as build a community of married couples, have fun and make friends!
The sessions will meet once a month September 13 - June 13 at the Kimball church building on the Second Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Participants will be encouraged to attend the monthly sessions at the building, read a chapter a month in the book Fun Loving You by Ted Cunningham, join in a monthly group activity with your table group, and have 1-2 dates with your spouse. You may either purchase the book on your own or purchase it through the registration form below for $12.
If you and your spouse are willing, we are looking for Table Hosts who would lead the discussions at their table, plus organize the monthly activity/get together for their table group. These monthly group get-togethers are intended to build connections with other couples and can be a dinner, outing, adventure, etc. Table Hosts will help organize but do not have to plan and execute each event ... the table group can share this.
What's Your Next Step?
If you have attended Lunch with the Pastor but have not yet been to Starting Point, we want to encourage you to take that next step. Starting Point is a great way to find out more about the mission of Hope Central Christian Church and what it looks like to get on board with that mission!
The next Starting Point on the Kimball campus will take place on Sunday, September 28 at 9:30am in Room 130 (downstairs next to the restrooms). Starting Point will be offered at the Dassel campus on Sunday, October 19 at 9:00am in the downstairs Fellowship Hall. Contact Chris Chambers at (320) 292-0971 if you have any questions. Operation Christmas Child - “It’s All About Jesus!”
By filling ordinary shoeboxes, you can be part of giving boys and girls what may be their first gift ever! Help Hope Central Christian Church send shoeboxes full of toys, school and hygiene supplies, and the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world. Local churches in more than 100 nations hand out these gifts, a tangible expression of God’s love, at festive outreach events where the Gospel is presented in a child-friendly way. Shoebox recipients are invited to participate in the 12-lesson follow-up discipleship program, The Greatest Journey.
Back to school sales are a great time to purchase items for Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts! Items like crayons, markers, pencils, pencil sharpeners, scissors, washcloths, and t-shirts (sizes 4T-adult medium) are all useful and desired items to include in shoeboxes. Our church donated 149 boxes last year! Will you help us hit our goal of packing 200 boxes in 2025? Join the HCCC packing party on the Kimball Campus:

We hope to see you this Sunday on the Kimball Campus at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00 am!
