As we navigate the challenges of COVID-19, we are continuing with our Outdoor Worship Services for the month of July--Sundays at 9:00am. Community Groups, Sunday School classes, and nursery services are not yet available. During weekdays, the building is open for small groups--please contact the church office to coordinate time(s) and use of rooms.
Jesus gave us a calling to fulfill: Acts 1:8, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." With this we start in our local communities. And, as the Holy Spirit directs individuals, we go nationally and internationally with our mission.
NATIONAL MISSIONS, ASSOCIATED MINISTRIES:
- Diamond Willow Ministries, Fort Thompson, SD
Diamond Willow Ministries formed in 2002 for the purpose of building and strengthening the people of our community, the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation. This is being accomplished by bringing people into a relationship with Creator God through Jesus Christ.
Diamond Willow Ministries (DWM) meets people's spiritual and emotional needs through personal mentoring relationships and the teaching of Biblical truths and principles. Meeting the many critical physical needs is a primary outlet for showing Christian love and compassion.
DWM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency comprised of community members brought together by a common vision. The teams is comprised of Dakota, Lakota, and non-Indians working and living on the Crow Creek Reservation. They, however, are only one part of the DWM team. The great things happening on the Reservation are the result of God working through all those who see the need, share the vision, and are contributing financially and through prayer.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS, ASSOCIATED MINISTRIES:
- African Harvest, Zimbabwe
Greetings from Fanny and Martha Nyamatura
Today is a totally new day for us in Zimbabwe. We have never ever seen a day like this in our lives before. We have experienced war for many years. We have experienced hunger and many other break downs of disease and suffering in Africa but nothing compared to what we see and hear now of the whole world coming to a standstill becaues of the coronavirus. God is in control of this world and our prayers are that God will heal our land and God will heal our world at large. Please join us in that prayer for us and the world.
The ministries of African Harvest include:
- A children's and women's ministry, including a holiday Bible School and a women's conference.
- A certificate program, "Training & Equipping Ministry," to equip leaders of churches to be Bible-based.
- The water project, drilling wells in villages
- The renovation project, renovating a building for proper classrooms to be used for expanding the certificate level classes to include a full two-year program for diploma in ministry. This is a critical need to train ministers of the gospel of Christ for Zimbabwe and Africa.
- Project Manana, Dominican Republic
A message from Brian Berman, Missionary in the Dominican Republic & Founder of Project Mañana
Project Mañana exists to share the gospel and break the cycle of poverty in the Dominican Republic by investing in impoverished children, their families, and communities through:
On September 30, 2010, the doors of Project Mañana were opened, being recognized as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization! Since then, Project Mañana has grown exponentially as more and more partners have come along side the vision of "Working Together Today For An Eternal Tomorrow."™
Goals are achieved through charitable donations and child sponsorship.
Sponsorship unites children in need with individual sponsors who wish to address the children's immediate and basic needs. It gives children the tools and opportunities necessary for success, primarily in the areas of nutrition and education. If you would like to sponsor a child through Project Mañana go directly to: www.ProjectManana.org.
The existing Project Mañana nutrition center in San Pablo, Dominican Republic is currently at maximum capacity and funds are being rasied to build a new state-of-the-art nutrition center and multi-purpose room--"The Hope Center." Your support and prayers are greatly appreciated.
