WHO WE ARE
Through a variety of ministry opportunities within the Church, community, and world, we strive to love God, love others, and serve in order to carry out our mission from Matthew 28:19-20 and Acts 2:42.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
We are an "Authentic Community Where Families Flourish."
Being authentic is looking more like Jesus Christ. Only He is truly authentic. Family is also important to us. From the single college student to the recently widowed, we want you to know that you each belong!
HISTORY OF OUR CHURCH
Kimball Christian Church, previously Church of Christ, has been serving our Lord in Central Minnesota since 1870. Starting out with 9 charter members, our church was organized in MainePrairie, MN. In 1915, the church building was relocated to Kimball, MN; in 1983, the church moved to its current location, a newly constructed building on the west side of Kimball.
An addition was added in 2001 and remodeling over the years continues.
But it's not the buildings, the programs, or the history that makes this church special--it's the people! KCC cares about people. We are an ordinary group of people, with everyday issues, who trust in an amazing God. We care about their growth and maturity in Christ. Our ministry is all about helping people find real meaning and fulfillment in the abundant life that Jesus promised and that God intends for His creation.
We offer an 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. service on Sundays, with Sunday School for kids and Community Groups for adults at 9:15 a.m. Join us this Sunday!
We value Biblical messages that are challenging and relevant to life, and we encourage a casual atmosphere. You are invited to come as you are!
